are many activities that are offered at Point Peron Camp School.
The majority of these are run by the Camp Director, however some
have been structured so they can be conducted by the accompanying
teachers with no preparation required.
A
number of excursions and incursions
are also available. Please see each page for suggestions, including
costs and contact details.
Camp
School Orientation
This is a short orientation exercise that allows the students
to become familiar with the camp school and it's surrounds. The
students use a map to answer a series of questions relating to
the Camp School. Some knowledge of how to orientate a map is necessary.
This exercise is conducted on arrival at the Camp School.
Orienteering
This is a basic course set within the Camp School grounds. It
requires no compass experience, but some basic mapping skills
are necessary.
Beach
Breakfast and Point Peron Quiz
A great way to start the day! BBQ breakfast on the Rockingham
foreshore where the students can swim or play on the adventure
equipment. The students then walk back along the beach to the
Camp School. Along the way they can complete a fun activity identifying
landmarks and answering a series of questions.
Snorkelling
Available for both the beginner and the more advanced snorkeller
in very safe sheltered waters. Only available in terms 1 and 4.
Climbing
Room
A unique horizontal climbing room on site. That develops student's
coordination and physical strength.

Building
Warm Weather Activity - A fun activity where small groups of Students
construct a raft and then paddle it around a marker.
Trust
/ Team Building Activities
Primary Students - Series of fun games designed to increase students
confidence and self esteem.
Wet
Weather Day
A series of indoor games designed to have fun on those rare rainy
days. Consisting of shuffle board, ten pin bowling, climbing room,
board games, group activities.
